My 101st Post: Hunger

It is the month of Ramadan going around in the entire world...all the Muslims might be fasting during this month and keeping their stomach empty for hours and hours....this month is believed to bring blessings and motivates the followers from committing further sins....during a fast, there are certain rules and regulations to keep in mind and the most important one is not to eat or drink anything...
People might think that I am weak while fasting because this is the first month in all my years when I really am feeling lack of food in my stomach....it is somehow tough for me this year to keep up with the fast but still, Allah is supporting me to maintain my fasts and keep a hold upon my hunger....
The best part of feeling hungry for me is that in my entire life time, this is the first time when I have connected with the poor....Masha-Allah I have been brought up in a family where am blessed by Allah to keep me well fed and well dressed....He never made me go to bed without food and never made me shiver in the cold winds....I have always had a roof above my head and I thank Him from the depth of my heart....this year, while fasting, I am beginning to realise what it is to pass a day without food....though the fast is only for few hours, there are people who go hungry for days and nights....during these few hours, when I churned the desire for food, I started wondering that what would it be to be poor...how do people survive when they have nothing to eat or drink....it is really tough....the strength from the body starts deteriorating and everything seems to fade away with time....it feels as if I am going to collapse if I don't take a nibble....nothing seems to cool the mind off and each and everything seems tasty to the eyes.....
There are people in this world who have nothing to eat or drink....they work hard but still in the end sit with there heads in their laps without a bite to swallow....how would the ones feel who have their families to support but they can't even fulfil their own hunger....world is tough for them...on the other hand, there are people like you and me who are blessed with enough food to suppress our hunger and are blessed with enough drinks to flood our throats....we never really realised what would it be like without food and water....how would we ever survive....
Well, I thank Allah for giving me this chance of understanding the importance of food and making me aware about the blessings He has bestowed upon me and my family....if it weren't for this month of Ramadan, I might never had been thankful for all the food am provided with, from my heart....I would have just taken it for granted but insha-Allah from this day on, I would always respect food and keep in mind that how well am blessed....I intentionally wrote this post while fasting because I wanted to pour out my feelings when am being irritated by my hungry stomach...
May He bless us all and may each and everyone be thankful to Him.....

My 94th Post: What If

In life, we make decisions at each and every step....at times, we rarely have enough time to look upon the matter and decide properly....we just go with what our mind says or our heart believes in....at the end of each and every quest, we always have a question in our minds....no matter what the result is, whether good or bad, we always think 'What If' at the end....then there are various other options in front of us after receiving the results and we keep visualising the situation with the alternative....
This two worded question never dies from our minds....it is always there...like what if I had woke up early instead of getting up late...though I can't change anything now but still am a human and to be honest, we are weak....we like to fool our brain at each and every possible moment because we know that reality is harsh and if we had just a chance, we might change...though we mostly repeat what we did before but still we like to hope for a chance to change....maybe the results might be better and we might have a better time....
What if...this brings up a lot of thoughts in my brain because there are many moments in my life which I would like to change....there are many decisions which I guess I regret taking ever but now, I don't have the power to change them...though I can change the upcoming future by trying not to repeat anything like that or when a similar decision comes, try to choose the alternative but well that is next time, not the one I have already lived.....I guess all of you readers would also have this question hovering around you specially when you get a quite time, away from every other thought....
We aren't perfect and that is the beauty of life....if we knew the option with the best result, then there wouldn't be such a thing as hope because we would always know that whatever the result might be, it would be perfect.....asking the question 'What If' shows that one is living because he/she feels.....'What If' is a result of guilt, sorrow, hurt, or even jealousy but whatever the reason is for that to occur, it just shows we are still human beings and aren't just walking with a dead soul.....
Do keep asking this question when ever you feel the need of it but never drown in depression because of that....no one can change his/her fate....what we choose, is meant for us....instead of getting depressed, one should just stand up and try to take the upcoming decisions with the knowledge from the previous results....just try to live and what so ever happens, accept it and bring a smile upon your face...I know that is one tough thing, but that is the easiest as compared to being dead while living.....

My 93rd Post: Ramadan Kareem

After a year's wait, Ramadan is again at our doors....it is the time of the year when at least for the duration of the fast, people stop doing illegal deeds and work upon developing their character and try to gain more good deeds to build their way to Heaven...
The odd thing is that most of us, am not saying that am not involved in them, only act religious in the month of Ramadan where as the whole year is there for us to unlock the doorway to Heaven....it is a bitter truth but we still hide it and live on....we always try to change what we do and try to be totally pious throughout the year but yet again we fail after so many tries....
Well it is a good thing that at least in the end, when Ramadan arrives, we start locking the devil inside us and try our level best to do good by reciting Quran, praying or by reading other religious stuff.....I hope the ones who didn't fast in the previous years, change their streak and fast this time....
Well this post was just a way to give my wishes to all my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters...instead of putting up a status, I thought why not to write a post for all of you....a small, little post for all of you, wishing you a happy Ramadan and I hope every Muslim here in Pakistan or from any other country in this world, gets enough strength from Allah to fast for the whole month....I pray for each and everyone's safety and hope this month brings happiness and blessings for all....

My 66th Post: Giving Birth...Dedicated to All the Mothers

From the start of life on this planet, men have always treated women to be their inferior species...men has always come up with reasons to brag and humiliate women one way or an other......leaving other discussions behind, I think all this leads to one of the reasons which is jealousy...men somehow is jealous of women....to over come that jealousy, he just decides to invent stuff and try to produce one thing or an other...the reason of jealousy leads to the gift God have given women, the right to give birth....
Men has a share in it but still what the women does is nothing in front of his efforts....nourishing a child for 9 months inside the womb is big but developing a life out of nothing and then letting it out to live, is phenomenal....this is a blessing and a power which He have given women and I guess there is nothing to top that blessing....I have never been a parent but I can still imagine to an extent the feelings of a mother....I can feel the reason for her tears when her child is hurt...not because she only gave birth but mainly because her child was a part of her before it saw the lights in this world.....
Giving birth ain't an easy job....there is a lot to it....God knew that men wouldn't surpass this process because we men don't have the patience required for it.....we don't have the softness required to bring up a child....some men might contradict with my point but as far as I am concerned with my nature, I can say that if men were allowed to give birth and I had to go through this, I would have given up and even people wouldn't have advised me ever to think of baring one because besides physical pain, there is a lot of mental stress, emotional ups and downs and a lot of care is required....just imagine for nine whole months a person has to stay in a place, avoid any exciting activities, eat proper, sleep proper, take medications, e.t.c....it is just like becoming paralyzed and even after that time, taking care of the new born by destroying sleep and the social life....that is just too much to handle but still women take up this job with honor....sure it is their duty because if they don't then who would...but still a women can say no....she can just walk away but no....knowing each and everything, she still prays to be a mother one day...she knows that her breath might start to stink...her weight would increase...she would miss all the parties she wanted to go to....even knows that she might go into a state of depression but still she stands up and takes the job....9 months and no life to enjoy while we, the men, are enjoying each and every second of our life as we always did....I don't think there is any comparison to that....
While writing out this post, I just realized the reason why my mom is always worried about my eating and sleeping habits....I am 20 years old but still my mom calls in daily to check whether I have had something to eat or not....well that sometimes irritates me and she knows that but no matter what my reaction is, she would call again and again until she is satisfied with my answer....now I really know what she meant when she said that I won't understand her feelings because I am not a mother and won't ever be one....so respect and love for all those moms in this world and may they be blessed with the love of their kids till their last breath....
O to mention, the invention part was somthing I heard on t.v....take care of your moms, respect them, love them and cherish their feelings....

My 47th Post: Rain

The light fades as the dark clouds cover up the sky....nothing too clear to see, only the thunder covers the scene...the eye awaits the first drop to fall from the sky....as the drops falls, quickly the eye shuts and a smile rises upon the face...within moments, there is a constant flow of water from the sky...the battle is waged and the warriors start running into everything they can land upon....the rain finally arrives....
I love rain, the smell, the sensation, they are just awesome....it feels as if, I rise above the land into a world way beyond thoughts....everything starts vanishing with time, am only able to feel tiny raindrops bouncing of my skin....after sitting for a while, the cloths soak up and it gets tough to stand balancing that weight....for me rain brings memories and a reason to skip the life of this world just for a while....
Different people have different views about rain....there are who hate rain and also are some who are crazy just like me...I couldn't understand that how could someone hate rain....for me that was out of question but people hate it.....some get disturbed when their body soaks up in water, that is alright but others say that rain depresses them....they say that when they sit in rain all alone, they wind up thinking of the past and the memories take them to a peak where they burst out with tears....being alone in rain is tough for them because they say that rain makes them recall someone special, someone they have been missing from time...
Well every human psychology is different from one and other, so I can't say they are wrong...maybe it is because the environment changes which softens the hearts and make them feel the absence of people...but what so ever it is, no one should hate rain....it is a blessing which a human can't deny.....without rain, many things get out of hand.....it balances the life on earth and if there is no rain, with time there won't be any life....
People in my city mostly don't want rain, not that they don't like it or are neglecting this blessing but the reason lies upon the consequences after an hour's rainfall....there is no space for driving a car upon the street as there is enough water for someone to row a boat....the drainage over flows....it is just like a mini tsunami over here....everything does clear up but only due to the sun's heat....there is no authority available to pump out the water or arrange some way to clear up the mess...once crystal clear water turns into green slimy water and to get across the street, we have to soak our legs into that.....
In that condition, how would someone will for rain? it is tough....I mean I want rain as well, its hot here and with the help of rain, the temperature might fall but still the after effects are more severe than the temperature...
Rain is beautiful, it is the best weather I can think of.....it is celebrated as a special occasion by making special food and everything....it is a day to sit back, relax and enjoy....

My 44th Post: Eid of 2012 Says Good Bye

Spent an entire month waiting for it and now its gone.....the three days of Eid officially ended today.....everything goes back to as it was and same routines take over our lives....the three days of gatherings and all that enjoyment is over....no more waking up and greeting people by saying Eid mubarak and then expecting Eidi from them, at least not for some months now....what ever it was, it was fun and hope that everyone enjoyed it....
Eid brings blessings for people and truly we were blessed...I can say that because there were few blackouts on the first day but then no blackout till today....that is one of the biggest blessing....well jokes apart, everywhere people were enjoying their time.....it felt as if the sorrows were lifted from this city and smiles rained upon us.....throughout the city, I saw people enjoy to their fullest and there wasn't any sight of pain or something like that....it was how normal days should be but well its good to see that the hearts still know how to live....
Every restaurant was booked and there was no place to sit....me and my friends were out and in order to dine, we changed couple of restaurants and still the one where we went served us after an hour at least....the streets were lighted by both the bulbs and the lights traveling from the vehicles.....there was no space to walk so driving was out of question....well salute to the traffic police which for once stood out and controlled this else Hyderabad would have flooded and our dinner would have been served in my ride.....
Though I didn't do much and honestly speaking, didn't enjoy that much except the second day but still due to some reason I don't want the feeling of Eid to end.......it felt odd when I realized that today was the last day and somehow I want to relive those 3 days again....something of this Eid is pulling me to it....I don't know what but I really feel the absence of Eid....still tomorrow or day after tomorrow when I would go out and meet people, I would wish them Eid...I mean the ones whom I didn't get a chance to see in those 3 days....but that wouldn't get the spirit of Eid alive because Eid is gone and I know it won't be back for months....
Well, I have to move on and wait for the next one to arrive....hope everyone really enjoyed the past few days and no one hurt anyone's feelings recently...if you say your days were boring and all then I would just say to you to be thankful to Allah that you are still safe and sound enough to read my post today and maybe having a little smile on your face...so keep on flexing those jaw muscles and take care....

My 32nd Post: One Year Gone

Time passes so soon....its just like sand held tight in a hand...no matter how hard one may try, it would still slip out....one whole year and two days back, around at this time, I was driving my car....it wasn't any ordinary drive....it was a very special day which has blossomed many hearts....everybody was excited but were tensed as well....its one of those times when you are happy but still the smile swings here and there....well in the end, after waiting for some hours, I came to know that I can have the honor of viewing my nephew...Yes, that day my nephew came to this world to reignite our lives.....
At first, I wasn't attracted to him that much....I mean I loved him and all but still there was something loose....don't really know what it was but still there was something but as time passed from a day to a week, things changed....he wouldn't even talk or anything just sleep all the time but still I wanted to be with him...give him hugs and kisses, just wanted to be with him all the time....
Now on 7th August 2012, its been a year since we met....trust me, we have bonded really well masha-Allah....he is one of a kind toy....you should really see what he does and how he acts....he is filled with tremendous acts....its just as if he was trained before he came down to us....you can't outsmart him and here I ain't exaggerating.....those expressions which he puts on when he knows he did something wrong or when he shows the sense of victory are outclass....I really can't define him in my words perfectly....the best suited phrase for him coming in my mind would be a naughty angel.....I have rarely seen kids at his age who can act....at times he cries, people think he is going to burst out with tears but no, it was just a hidden trick to achieve his goal of snatching something or maybe getting someone's attention....
Once, just few weeks back, he went to a shop with his grandfather....there he got mesmerized by sun glasses....he tried every piece on like every child but the thing he did special was that he kept trying each one and after wearing it, he posed with a very cute smile masha-Allah to all the passing ladies; I mean the ones he liked....after continuing that, there was someone he really wanted to impress but she didn't even look at him and his smile turned into a frown and prompted perfectly a sad cat's expression....that was a Kodak moment....there are a lot of tales of his life which I can share but the space is limited....
The most wonderful thing is how he looks at me....whenever I meet him all of a sudden, he just blooms up and starts bouncing to tell me to pick him up....it ain't only me who is in love, but that little, cute toy of us has the same affection for me...that just lightens my heart....his expressions and the glow on the face when he gets to know of my presence is just priceless....I hope and pray that everything remains the same...in fact the love increases with upcoming years....(insha-Allah)
Happy Birthday kido, may you be blessed with many more and I am sure that all my readers would also be wishing you and praying for your good health.....(insha-Allah)
