My 113th Post: Religious Us

The day I took my first breath of air, I didn't know who I was or what my identity was going to be....like others, I just opened my eyes and closed them again to be cuddled in the arms of my loved ones....I didn't know what my motive was when I came into existence....I only knew that I have been sent to some people as their son, nothing else....when I grew, things revealed and I was given a certain identity to carry myself in this world...with a name and a family background, I was also enrolled in a titled category which by default is done for each and every child who steps in this world....I was categorised according to the religion of my parents and placed under the title of Islam....
What is Islam? What kind of a religion is it? Things like that were unknown to my knowledge and what was known is that it is a religion which my parents follow and I have to obey them and follow what they tell me to...with age, the knowledge increased and I came to know the difference between good and bad and the selection of a righteous path....this day, there are so many things that I know are wrong in this society and I know that they would lead me to the fire of Hell....I know I should avoid them and try to become a better Muslim but instead of doing that, I am just fooling around and dragging my mind towards the beastly activities....
I am not the judge of the ones who are reading my posts but I can say that most of the people are just namely religious....they might be following some rules and regulations but would be avoiding a lot of them....in Islam, the first thing we are taught are the rules which would keep us away from Hell....those rules are simple and easily followed....I believe in each and every rule taught to us but the last one which says to believe in the day of judgement, I am doing a mistake in that....I believe from the depth of my heart that I would be commanded to raise once more to be judged according to my deeds in this worldly life....but, the thing which is killing me is that I do believe but I ain't correcting my deeds....there are many mistakes in my character which might get me punished and the irony is that I am not avoiding them....surely I do try but my will is weak which means I am not really trying hard.....
There should be a fear in our hearts stronger than the one we have when we have to face our parents....It is the God we are talking about here...He is the one who created each and everything, even the ones we fear....if we are afraid of the creation, why don't we have the sense of being afraid of the Creator? the creation might hurt us physically but for a limited time...the Creator can punish us for eternity if He wills to do so....His torments would be much terrible than the ones we can imagine.....but still, we are ignoring that fact and moving in life the way we want to....we are avoiding simple things which He taught us to be good and are lusting over things which He has restrained us from.....
Most of us are following Him just compared to the drop of rain against the water from all the oceans....just ask your heart where do you stand and if you are far away from the gates of Heaven, try to perfect yourself and pray to Him to guide you and the others to the right path....strengthen your believes and make the aim of reaching Heaven your first priority....
May Allah bless us all and please do pray for each and everyone, including this writer.....

My 101st Post: Hunger

It is the month of Ramadan going around in the entire world...all the Muslims might be fasting during this month and keeping their stomach empty for hours and hours....this month is believed to bring blessings and motivates the followers from committing further sins....during a fast, there are certain rules and regulations to keep in mind and the most important one is not to eat or drink anything...
People might think that I am weak while fasting because this is the first month in all my years when I really am feeling lack of food in my stomach....it is somehow tough for me this year to keep up with the fast but still, Allah is supporting me to maintain my fasts and keep a hold upon my hunger....
The best part of feeling hungry for me is that in my entire life time, this is the first time when I have connected with the poor....Masha-Allah I have been brought up in a family where am blessed by Allah to keep me well fed and well dressed....He never made me go to bed without food and never made me shiver in the cold winds....I have always had a roof above my head and I thank Him from the depth of my heart....this year, while fasting, I am beginning to realise what it is to pass a day without food....though the fast is only for few hours, there are people who go hungry for days and nights....during these few hours, when I churned the desire for food, I started wondering that what would it be to be poor...how do people survive when they have nothing to eat or drink....it is really tough....the strength from the body starts deteriorating and everything seems to fade away with time....it feels as if I am going to collapse if I don't take a nibble....nothing seems to cool the mind off and each and everything seems tasty to the eyes.....
There are people in this world who have nothing to eat or drink....they work hard but still in the end sit with there heads in their laps without a bite to swallow....how would the ones feel who have their families to support but they can't even fulfil their own hunger....world is tough for them...on the other hand, there are people like you and me who are blessed with enough food to suppress our hunger and are blessed with enough drinks to flood our throats....we never really realised what would it be like without food and water....how would we ever survive....
Well, I thank Allah for giving me this chance of understanding the importance of food and making me aware about the blessings He has bestowed upon me and my family....if it weren't for this month of Ramadan, I might never had been thankful for all the food am provided with, from my heart....I would have just taken it for granted but insha-Allah from this day on, I would always respect food and keep in mind that how well am blessed....I intentionally wrote this post while fasting because I wanted to pour out my feelings when am being irritated by my hungry stomach...
May He bless us all and may each and everyone be thankful to Him.....

My 93rd Post: Ramadan Kareem

After a year's wait, Ramadan is again at our doors....it is the time of the year when at least for the duration of the fast, people stop doing illegal deeds and work upon developing their character and try to gain more good deeds to build their way to Heaven...
The odd thing is that most of us, am not saying that am not involved in them, only act religious in the month of Ramadan where as the whole year is there for us to unlock the doorway to Heaven....it is a bitter truth but we still hide it and live on....we always try to change what we do and try to be totally pious throughout the year but yet again we fail after so many tries....
Well it is a good thing that at least in the end, when Ramadan arrives, we start locking the devil inside us and try our level best to do good by reciting Quran, praying or by reading other religious stuff.....I hope the ones who didn't fast in the previous years, change their streak and fast this time....
Well this post was just a way to give my wishes to all my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters...instead of putting up a status, I thought why not to write a post for all of you....a small, little post for all of you, wishing you a happy Ramadan and I hope every Muslim here in Pakistan or from any other country in this world, gets enough strength from Allah to fast for the whole month....I pray for each and everyone's safety and hope this month brings happiness and blessings for all....

My 52nd Post: Innocence of Muslims

I have been reading about protests since few days but didn't will to take a look at them...today, while on Facebook, a page had it's cover uploaded signing the mark of the protest....so I decided to look at it after all...there is a film produced under the name "Innocence of Muslims" by Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, a Coptic Christian and is directed by Alan Roberts, an American softcore pornagraphy film director...the thing igniting about this film is that those fools have tried to create a joke upon the character of our beloved Prophet (S.A.W)....
At this moment, I am just trying to work out the words I can use here which would be suitable for every kind of audience....this is not the first time someone has done something like this but this time, things have gone too far....what can be the purpose of making such a disgusting film? they wanted audience to view it? they just started an outrage which won't sooth so easily...
After the launch of the trailers upon youtube, a rise in the number of riots is seen in the past few days...people are dying and things are getting destroyed just because of those few people who thought they could laugh out....I am in no way supporting the riots if they aren't peaceful but still, I am not blaming those people either....Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) is loved by us Muslims more than any person we know, living or dead...so imagine, how can someone stand doing nothing when they hear and see false accusations upon him?
Why to target upon someone's believes or their religion? I believe in Allah and His Prophets, that is my believe, no one has a right to comment negatively upon that....that is my choice and my freedom....I am not telling anyone to follow my religion or saying it is the best over here, am just stating my believe and my right to believe that....no one has a right to utter a word against that...if someone thinks, following Islam is not the right path, sure you are allowed to debate but in a proper manner...you don't have any right to disrespect my believes in any way...in this era, there are a lot of videos created daily which might insult someone's religion but ignoring them isn't the answer....there should be some kind of an action taken upon this because this would just ruin the harmony of this planet....this film, which the riots are all about, is way out of line...to all the Muslims reading this, I would advise you not to view even the trailer of the film....trust me, it would just boil the blood in your vessels....
How can there be peace upon this planet if people just bring up reasons for a war....I am not sure what the riots are for but I can say that if they ain't upon this, then there is something big coming up...I really want to rewrite this post from scratch but this time just to take out the frustration which is created in my brain....
I don't know whether you are a Muslim, a Hindu, a Christian or from any other religion, all I know is that you have a heart and that heart would guide you in selecting the right from the wrong....protest against this film and lets unite in order to stop it from spreading across further more....
May He bless each and every soul upon this planet, but for the cast and crew of this film, may He bring justice to the honor of his beloved Prophet (S.A.W)....
Tc, comment and share....
