My 16th Post: A wish

Sitting on a roof top, glazing up at the calm sky...just waiting for a perfect moment to see a falling star....as the star shoots out of the sky, the little girl, who had a teddy clutched in her arm, rose up on her feet and wished for an angel to fulfill her dreams.....
That rarely happens in real life....yes, the innocence of a child can make this happen but for a grown up, things change with time....we stop believing in a situation like this....the maturity kills it all....but what remains is the word 'wish'....no matter how old we get or how mature we are, we always have a wish....sometimes they are fulfilled and at times, we end our time and our wish remains dug up under the sand like us....
A wish, a desire always have a special standing in one's life.....it is like life is incomplete when we don't have a wish....one ends, and there is another waiting to take place....but still there is a wish which conquers them all....you can name it the queen wish.....even if we achieve that, no other wish takes its place.....
We spend our entire life to fulfill our wishes or someone's wishes who is special for us but we never realize that the bag of wishes gets filled up even more when one of the wish comes true....human being is a greedy material....we always want more and each time we get more, we want more....so the cycle never ends, we just keep on wishing and then keep on running after the aim of grabbing that wish.....like eating an ice-cream, that is a wish come true but afterwards we wish to have a cola....so it never ends...
Problem with some wishes is that they come with an expiry date....you don't really have enough time to grab them.....those wishes, if not having the time issue, have a chance issue....you only get certain amount of tries to get it and if you lose, you lose for ever....those golden wishes are heartbreaking and trust me, when you lose a try, the life trembles as if someone got the grab of it and squished with their hands.....but if you finally achieve that wish, it is just like a ride to heaven on this world which is just amazing enough to die for....
There are wishes which can't come true, I mean logically they are impossible but our Lord can create miracles....so in normal conditions, those wishes are like comparing a drop of water with an open ocean....but still the heart wishes, even though it knows and is advised by the brain that don't be an idiot, it goes on giving a try with a believe that maybe the person is special for God......
We all are special for Him and He would definitely listen to each and everyone of us...it is just that maybe that wish is not that perfect for us...so let Him decide what to give and what not to, lets just keep on wishing and keep on living a part of our life in the fairy land....
