My 26th Post: Rak sha bandhan

A day in a year comes when a sister ties her blessings to her brother's arm....this is a Hindu culture....they believe that when a girl ties a knot on some guy's hand that makes that guy her soul brother and a brother is a brother no matter blood or soul.....I just hope, I ain't passing on any wrong information here and if yes then I am sorry to all...

Well in my belief, a knot doesn't makes such a difference...I mean to say that in movies it is shown that a girl ties a knot to a stranger and he becomes her brother and all....that ain't the reason someone becomes a brother.....only a knot can't do that...the real concept of a rakhi is that a sister makes it with her bare hands while praying for her brother's health and good will.....she fasts for a day and keeps upon praying for her bro....that is kind of a way how she represents the love for her brother and shows him that she honors his contribution, care, love and protection in her life....
The bond between a brother and a sister is way too strong for people to break....its not so weak to mess around with....all that is required is pure soul and intentions that is it....
Well I have to go to bed and sleep cause it is getting late else there is a lot to talk upon here but would continue it next time....Happy raksha bandhan to all those sisters and all those brothers who have someone waiting for them and gives them a special place in their hearts.....This post is dedicated to all my friends who celebrate this day with joy.....
